it is important to discipline bad behavior. now i don't mean by being mean back! one good way is to get a water bottle and give him a quick squirt in the face when he's bad. that doesn't mean drown the poor little guy. and make sure the stream of water is gentle. if your kitten is playing aggressively with you, don't encourage it by playing back. quickly get a toy and allow your kitten to take out his energy on that. some kittens act out because they are bored and have pent up enegry. try to take aside 30 minutes each day to play with him. that is not only fostering positive behavior but it also allows you to bond with him without the aggressiveness. i hope this helps and good luck.

kpearson658 gave you a great answer.
I'd just add that an older male might have the same effect. Young males will often look up to older ones and older males will often take on a male kitten or adolescent as their protege.
As others have said, neutering should help.
Also, play is a great outlet for aggression and kittens need LOTS of play. You can help by playing with kitty as much as you can. Of course, getting another cat will provide kitty with a playmate.
Whether you get a male or female, make sure it's young enough to want to do lots of playing. I'd say three, may be four years old at most, and one or two better still.
Of course, another kitten is worth considering, too. You wouldn't get the parenting or mentoring aspect that an older cat would offer, but it would sure keep kitty busy playing.

by bringing an older (preferebly female) cat into his life that has a history of "playing well with others". do this as soon as possible so that they can bond. Having a positive older female influence will help him. Also, if this is your only kitty, he could be acting out of aggression from being lonely. The best way to approach the finding of said older nice female cat is to go to the humane society. I would look for one that is 1-2 years old, and is listed as "loves the company" and also seems generally affectionite when you meet her. Another bonus to this is the good feeling you'll get inside from rescuing an adult cat!
The reason i say this is because it worked for me!!! My boy kitten was plain old rotten! He did a complete 180 within weeks of bringing an older female cat into his life.
then there's the captain obvious answer, get him neutered, but i'm sure you already knew that
