So if we are a picture, that means god made the first one, and if picturs are flawed, does that mean god can't make a good picture?

Voltaire said it best....If God doesn't exist, man would create him...We are flawed because we created a flawed god, not vice verse

Flawed is in the eye of the beholder. We come into this world as perfect beings, full of possibility. Later we do become flawed - if you believe flawed means less than optimal in any respect.
The Bible (which I actually did read 3 times a long time ago) is flawed because it was written, translated, rewritten, re-translated and interpreted many many ways by humans. Still the Bible is valuable and we can learn a lot from it if we are intelligent and not compulsively fixing on specific words or phrases. Even non-Christians can learn a lot from it, as Christians can learn from other religions.
Think of the Bible as an open book, a beautiful and perhaps at times terrible living book with images flowing from the pages. It is not some instrument of torture and deception that some people want it to be.
Throw off your Christian Mullahs folks! Read the Bible with your open minds and hearts and see what is there for you. You are not sheep!

God did make a good picture. We called that picture Jesus.
As for our flaws, the original plan was that we should live forever. But when Adam and Eve showed their ingratitude by disobedience, he changed the plan. The new plan was, "They can still live forever. They'll just have to show that they are as willing to use their Free Will to show their gratitude as they were to show their ingratitude."
Our flaws (like Eve's hunger for the apple, and Adam's willingness to disobey God to please his wife) don't matter, as long as we we resist the urge to show ingratitude again. And, even when we fail that, Jesus told us that as long as we really feel bad that we were weaker than our flaws, we can ask forgfiveness and get it. But if we do the same thing again the next day, we cast doubt on our sincerity.
Jesus said, "Go thy way, and sin no more". We would be wise not to push it.
By the way, God could have made all men perfect and incapable of making any mistakes or of doing anything not allowed in the Ten Commandments. When we make something that can only obey our will, we call it a robot.
God's intention was to share existence, not to create robots. So we're stuck with having to guide our own lives. But he gave us lots of guidelines to understand how to do that successfully. Can you imagine what a Utopia would be ours if every single human being never killed us, never stole from us, never wrecked our marriages with adultery, etc. Can you imagine a world in which everyone treated everbody else as well as he treated himself?
Jesus came with the limitations of a human being to demonstrate that we could actually live that way and make our Heaven right here. He showed us a practical way to achieve peace, harmony and brotherhood. Unfortunately, far too many people would rather spend their time making excuses for their lack of contribution to that perfect world, than trying to achieve it.
But those who try will achieve it. That's why we will be separated after death into those who wanted to achieve the goal of peace and brotherhood, and those who either didn't want that, or couldn't be bothered with the effort it took.

I think we are flawed so that there is the opportunity to overcome the flaw and have a deeper understanding of how to overcome other struggles. And if we were not flawed, then there would be nothing to learn out from life. Plus, the bible is old and passed down, so flaws in it could simply be flaws in the people passing down the stories.

Our soul is created in the image of God. We are flawed because our physical shell has fallen & is prone to sin. And the Bible is not flawed - it is the inerrant recorded word of God.

You were created more or less in the image of your parents, weren't you? Are there not physical similarities, as well as other similarities? You are flawed, but that does not necessarily mean that your parents are flawed. You have the potential to become perfect, like your perfect Father in Heaven.
Same image, different stage of progression.

I haven't ever seen contradictions in Gods' Word. Ive read the bible through several times, grew up in church and a christian school, and teach teenagers Gods' Word. List them if you know them.
