The focus on illegal Asians and Europeans already happened in our history. The Irish were hated on back in the day. The Chinese were hated on back in the day while they were building railroads. Both groups had a grip of laws passed to prevent them from doing all sorts of things. There were anti-immigration laws passed and anti-miscegenation laws passed, which means that it was illegal for the Chinese to marry outside of their race. Stupid seeing as that there were also laws preventing Chinese women to come in the country.

Africans... well the racist crackers that are against them being here have no right, because they were stolen from their homeland and brought here. Do some more studying and learn about history and you'll see that every group, not just Mexicans have had a hard time in this country. Well, almost every group.
At least these days, the law doesn't protect people from going around and killing and beating the crap out of these people. Yeah, you'd be surprised how crazy things got just a hundred or two hundred years ago.

I am with you on this one I would love to know why it is that if immigration is the big issue right now why it is the Mexican race right now is the only one with the focus, and oh by the way most of you all are wrong because I have lived in Alaska and let me tell you most of the states up that way are swarming with people from Asian countries that are there illegally and cannot speak English either, the reason it is a big issue right now with the Mexican people is because the president has chosen to make it that way. If we want to address illegal immigration we need to do it across the board not just single out one group of people. Contrary to what most people think the Mexican people are not to blame for the economy or for the welfare system or all the other things they are just the convent excuse for now, but if we want to fix the immigration problem we need to do it across the country not just in 4 states.

The focus is on illegal Mexicans more instead of other people probably because Mexicans are the main people crossing the border and breaking the law, or at least that's what the news makes it out to be. I think that most people know that not all Mexicans bring drugs and break the law and the news tends to focus on people doing bad things more than good. I think that there are more good people than bad and that the bad people ruin the reputation of all the good people.

There are far fewer illegals from other countries. How would they get in unnoticed when they have to come across an ocean? The only way they could do it is to come here legally and stay past their limit, or to come in through a place like Mexico. It is very rare. Plus Europeans and Asians are more likely to follow the rules than to break them. It's a cultural thing. In addition, Africans and Asians have enough babies to keep thier populations steady. White populations here and all over the world are declining. Only Mexicans are having a baby boom. So they are coming in legally and overstaying their welcome. They are crossing illegally. They are coming here and having alot of babies. So there are alot more of them. Hard to miss the fastest growing population in America. When I was a kid my area was mostly white. Now my area is mostly brown. Kind of hard to miss that most people have a year round tan and a thick accent and don't get to know their American neighbors. Hard to miss that when I'm sick I have to wait years for medical care and 80% of the other poor people in the clinic are foreigners with thick accents, most of whom are Mexicans.
Hard to miss when a law is passed regarding immigration, English, etc that hundreds of thousands of Mexicans march, a large number of whom are illegal, and protest our laws and culture as though they were the citizens and we were the foreigners. Hard to miss that the Mexicans and blacks teamed up and now don't have to pass the exit exam to graduate high school, but the rest of us do.
I live in California. We all know good Mexican Americans. Either they or someone in their family immigrated. We are usually of the same class. We get along. We learn each other's cultures. We are a melting pot. We don't have a problem with Mexicans until they cause the kind of trouble I'm talking about. That's just the political stuff. There's the other Mexicans who hate white people but have never been discriminated against and drunk Mexicans, often in groups, who try to and sometimes succeed in forcing women into their cars. That's part of the Mexican problem here.
So you see, there's alot more to the Mexican culture and problem than a bunch of supposed racists complaining about brown people.

Three-quarters of the estimated 12 million illegal migrants in the US come from Mexico and Central America. Mexicans make up 56 percent of the unauthorized US migrant population, according to the Pew Hispanic Center.
And it is the illegal Mexicans that bought attention to themselves during the May 1st, the day without immigrants, parade raising the Mexican flag, and disrespecting the American flag. Other illegal immigrants from Asia, Europe, and Africa didn't raise their countries' flags and demand rights.

Because Mexicans are doing all the back breaking jobs that no one else wants to do yet society complains that we are taking their jobs, well then get off your butt and do the job. Europeans and Africans are more on the down low and and don't really make a big scene, keep in mind that they are probably coming through Canada and not the Mexican border. Plus politicians need a platform to discuss and debate

...not that we should and not that we do... the term i ALWAYS hear is "ILLEGAL ALLIEANS"... must be in your mind... i wonder why. but if that were the case it would be because the problem [ and it is a problem] comes mostly from mexicans sneaking across the border... but you already know that so why dont you just cut the b s?!?!? ALL that said, i spend a lot of time w/ very VERY poor people, i certainly can understand why ALL poor people want to get in here anyway they can, make a few dollars improve their life style, send some money home , help out thier families ... my problem comes from the fact that we have existing laws, and law informent units from immigration / border patrol, local & federal police internal reveniew and more that ALL get paid good wages bennifits and retirement pakages ALL paid for buy the tax payer .. they are "working welfare" .. and they have not done their job!! how DID this problem get so out of hand?!?!? now they want congrees to "bail them out "by making new laws... how dare they... if they can't do their job , fire them all. take away all their bennifits and hire illegals alliens to do the job!!!

Everyone has seemed to forget that illegals come through Canada as well. Lets face it, Mexico is a third world country so naturally because of their closeness to our borders, there are more of them here. Anybody with half a brain can figure out that the current administration is praying on the passions of the masses as a diversion to all of their serious problems they are now having. Mexico has turned into the focal point for all of this and because of this it allows racism to flourish. One more note: it is much easier to cross the Canadaian border illegally. Did everyone know that the Canadian border patrol are not even allowed to carry arms?

why do you generalize? I Personally don't care what race an illegal is, but I'm really upset with how most businesses turn blind eyes towards the law in favor of cheaper labor. This is laymans outsourcing. Illegal mexicans just happen to be the majority of illegals so ignorance focuses on them to make it easier.

First of all African stood up for them self. Asians have money so they don't care. Mexicans let red-necks step on them. If all the field pickers were to stand up, speak up and stop working, Ignorant people would stop focusing on them, because no white boy is bending over to pick fruit. Why do they focus on Mexicans because we let them. Sad but true honey.
