Research different breeds that interest you, you can go to the library, get a dog book and look over a few breeds of interest, it should be one you can handle, have room for, and be able to take care of.

I think you should get a golden retriever,because that are loyal,good family pets,and are always happy to see you.I have one myself and, they are excellent dogs.

you should try the link i copied below. it will help you determine which type of dog fits your life style and its absulotly free.just fill in the answers.i filled it in and it said a labrador and that's what i have!

go too your local shelter. theres so many too pick from .and youll feel good too knowing you gave a good home to a pup that might have gotten put too sleep! sad but true!
