For starters, you're too young to be worried about "boyfriends" and "ex-boyfriends"!!
I am in my 50s. My 2 cats are 8 years old. They have never missed one night sleeping with me. I make sure they are inside every night because (1) I don't want them getting into fights or being attacked, (2) they keep me warm during the winter, (3) they have to wash the dishes and vacuum the floors before they can have their dinner, and (4) they protect me from burglars.
So, no, there is nothing wrong sleeping with cats. I would rather have them sleeping with me than being left outside with all the homeless animals that people have abandoned.

I think you mean that his new kitty sleeps with him, right? He doesn't go into the little kitty bed on the floor and curl up does he? What do you mean he USED to be your ex? Isn't he always your ex?

yes, all 4 of my cats sleep with me, there's nothing wrong with it, except for the fact that i have to sleep in a small area without moving half the night (lol)

Of course. I had five cats and a Pomeranian who all slept with me in my California-king-size bed, until one of the cats was naughty and peed in the bedroom! So now only the Pom is allowed in. I miss it sometimes, though--there would be one next to my head on the pillow, one on my chest or stomach . . . lol.

My two cats sleep with me and my husband. Also when we buy a house I'm sure we will get a dog that will share our bed also, well according to my husband.

Yes, I would. In fact, I do! I sleep with my cat, or rather, she sleeps with me. I like it, exept for when she wakes me up-go figure!
