kids at my school call me gay but i'm not i think it is cause i used to play the flute or i don't play sports. any advice please. thanks

Ignore them. some people are so stupid. you shouldn't have to defend yourself like that. And you don't owe them any explanation. Apparently your just more mature that they are. Just let it slide.

Many of the greatest flute players in the world are men that ARE NOT gay! I don't know what you can do about people calling you gay BUT....if you you are a guy and you are attracted to girls then you know you aren't gay so FEEL SECURE in your identity....why should you have to prove anything to some idiot...what, for his ENTERTAINMENT? KNOW who you are and embrace it....and don't worry about what others think about you because there are those out there who will like you for who you are!

Ignore the morons. I've heard a guy be called gay because he wouldn't cheat on his girlfriend. I mean, come on! What could be less gay! He's in a committed relationship with a girl and he wants to honor that.
The world today is sexually confused (including the guys who go around yelling 'gay'), and they're gonna take it out on whoever pays attention. Just stop letting it get to you, and find decent people to hang with, and they'll eventually move on to weaker mortals.

Kids can be very insensitive and mean without any regard for what their actions and spoken words can cause to others around them. Parents are at the core of this problem as they don't instill values and common decency into their children these days for they seem to think kids can guide themselves without assistance. If you think your parents are good at giving sound direction, you should talk about your feelings with them and see what they suggest as well.
As long as you know who you are on the inside and what you stand for, no amount of words said can take that away from you.

Kids can be mean. You should not care what other people say or think about you. Some people have nothing better to do than to give other people a hard time. Don't worry things will get better. Sorry you are having such a hard time.

if it's someone of your gender who's saying your gay, you could just say "you wish!" if ya wanna be a bit snotty to them.
if you're not threatened by it, let them say what they want. if you ARE threatened by it, don't let them know that or they'll call you gay all the more. best for them to see you with a girlfriend sometime and let their comments taper off, than for you to get all purple-faced and flustered and basically let them know know they're pushing your buttons. people are button-finders, just look on this site. some people just LIVE to make comments they know will rile someone up. if you won't rile, they'll leave u alone!

Tell them that if they can see any simularity between yourself and their Father, they are wrong cause You are NOT Gay. Tell them that as a man thinkest so is he. If they just want to find the gay in you, they probably have a lot of Gay in them.

Tell them sorry, but you're not gay. Then ask them why they're so interested. Ask them if the reason they're asking is because they're gay and they find you attractive. Then tell them there are places they can go to get support for their gay lifestyle. And tell them everytime they ask you if you're gay, you're going to tell everyone that they were asking you out.

Ignore them, kids having been calling each other names forever. Kids at my kid brothers school call him names all the time.
