I like "Jesus effing Christ on a pogo stick." Or "Jesus H. Christ." Or an all-time favorite, "Holy sh*t." So, is that supposed to make me some kind of closet theist? LOL.

yup, that's basically it for me, because it holds no value. instead of saying crap, crud, poop, or whatever else, why not just say s h i t? they're just words, if you want it to be important, it will be. it just depends on how much stress you put on it. and i think that in life there's more important things to focus on other than what I'm yelling out that may offend someone. jesus christ, you're lame. yeah see you can play that out two ways I'm awesome.

It is better to say his name in anger then to say his name in vain, before a group of people all glorying in each others flesh.
I would rather hear an angry atheist speak Gods name then any preacher dressed in sheep's clothing.

it's not just atheists that say Jesus Christ - I will also say Cheese n' Crackers or Jesus Mary & Joeseph - it's like not trying to say sh*it when you bump your toe - it just sorta of slips out -
