I have donated toys before to our local church and community center.
Usually I give the clothes to my family who have younger children that can wear them.
I have also had a yard sale, that was a lot of work, but made a good bit of money.

Yes I donate my children's old clothing. I also give them to other children that I know. I donate to Once Upon A Child and what they don't take and I know someone else doesn't need - I sell on another website or donate to amvets or purple heart. You can also look for consignment shops in your area just type in sell childrens used clothing in your search engine.
Good luck!
I've listed some websites for you below

I either donate them or pass them on to another family that I know that has a smaller boy/girl that the clothes will fit. It's the perfect way for large families to get nice clothes (as long as you take care of them) without paying full price for it. There is no way we could have been able to afford a new crib/diaper changer/blankets/onsies etc at full retail price. Sheesh! We would be homeless!

i trade the ones that are still completely unstained and have good brand names to a used clothes store and get credit for clothes the next size up, but the ones they reject (they are VERY picky) I donate. some clothes that i have though, are so old or stained or ripped, so i just throw those away. hand-me-downs from goodwill is actually quite nice, but treating someone like they're a trashbin for the well-off is another thing altogether :)

yes but i always look for a family that can use them,i will not donate to goodwille or salvation army, despite their lower prices than brand new some ppl just dont have the $$$$,give it away. I have found that churches in our area hang on to them until the next rummage sale and they make $$ off of them,i dont like that, robin

I have a few people that I give my daughter's old clothes to. Not usually her toys, they usually aren't worth it by the time she outgrows them. I did donate first her bicycle to the preschool at the bottom of the hill.

Some I do and some I don't. My little baby clothes yes. But I tend to keep toys and other outgrown baby clothes 12 months and up and sell them on ebay at my store.

Although it takes some work, I like to have a garage sale. I choose to do this because It gives me a little spending $$$ to buy them new things.
I try to price them cheaper than someone would pay at the Salvation Army - so, people who need a bargain are getting one, yet I'm making a little $$$ too.
