He would probably point out that he whole Sacrifice would have been in vain if he were truly God. Also... um, why would God, creator of EVERYTHING, sacrifice himself TO his creation???? Isn't it the people who have to accept the sacrifice? And then, if that's not the case, he sacrificed himself TO himself in order to stay his own wrath?
This is starting to sound like a spoiled little kid who just isn't getting his way so comes up with an elaborate scheme in order to get attention from parents who already know what's up.

Jesus (pbuh) is the Son of Mary!
Jesus (pbuh) is a Prophet of God!
Jesus (pbuh) has never died!
Jesus (pbuh) is still alive!
Jesus (pbuh) will come back to Earth!

No, not distortion. Jesus is God and I believe that He would be very pleased that some of His children got the message!

He would be very happy. The Father, Son, and The Holy Ghost are indeed God.

Since Jesus is a purely fictional character, he wouldn't say anything the authors didn't already write.

It really depends where you think Jesus is right now - dead, or alive. If he's dead, he could care less. If he's alive, he'd be saying, "Damn straight."
BTW, every religion has their confused and hypocritical followers - it's what makes us human.

Maybe He would say "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father"
Oh, wait, Jesus already said that.
