Sure time was created! Genesis 1:5b: And there was evening and there was morning, one day. It's a matter of faith not science. Science holds onto the big-bang, which seperates it out form being created. Therefore, science cannot find a begining.

Although the universe is finite in duration, time still has no beginning. This seems like a contradiction until you delve deeply into the details.

Regardless, there are only two possibilities; either time had a beginning or it didn't. The Bible has a 50/50 chance of getting it right. That's not really a very compelling argument even if the Bible were right (which it isn't in this case).

God created time and set it in motion, remember He also created the day, the first day, until now they keep running - Genesis 1. When Jesus returns and we who are faithful go to Heaven with him then we will live for eternity with him but you could ask what is eternity? Eternity could be the absent of time in relation to age and degradation. But it could be time unlimited without end. Wind it once you don't have to wind it up again.
