That's the dilemma for human cloning isn't it? I don't know and anyone who says they do (either way) is only fooling themselves. Until we do I believe it's better to move forward conservatively than to rashly open up more problem caused by the amorality of technology. Same problem we always face. It's our responsibility as the wielders of that power to examine the probably outcomes prior to moving.

Every human being has a soul. That would include a cloned person. Just because they are the same genetically, does not make them the same emotionally, psychologically, mentally, or spiritually.

Where would it have got it? God grants the soul through people and the knitting of the child in the womb, not through a petri dish or mechanized remakes.

to answer that you would have to know exactly what a "soul" is. we are told that we have a soul. but who tells us this? man. religion. the bible. all conceived by man.
