My dad told me to put mud right on the sting right when it happened.
I have been stung once before, and the same thing happened. Is this normal, or an allergy???

Buy Benadryl cream it should stop the itching and take the swelling down. Also examine the wound the stinger might still be in there which is causin it to swell up.

benadrill, advil or tylonol, and ice. the benadrill will help with the swelling, because it does its best to nutralize the venom. your body is having an alergic reaction to the sting, and you need some kind of way to get that toxin out or at least nutrelize it.

next time, when you first get stung, if you can get to your bathroom and you have blue gel toothpaste in the tube, crest works best, and you put it right on the sting (i know it sounds wierd) but you can see the through the toothpaste to the sting, you will see the venom being sucked right out of the wound! its crazy! it will still be irritated the next day, but not nearly as much since the majority of the venom is out of your body.

for now, bring down the swelling with the tylonol or advil, keep ice on it, and take the benadrill. it will get better in a day or 2. try not to walk on it.

theres also stuff you can buy at the store for stings. try a CVS or a rite aid first. a regular supermarket might not have what your looking for.

It sounds like the stinger is still in your foot. Make a paste out of baking soda and a little bit of water, then spread it over the area where you got the sting, put your foot up, and let it dry completely. This should help the irritation and draw out the stinger. You could also be allergic to the bandage adhesive, so I would recommend not covering the sting. If your foot is badly swollen and you are still having symptoms in the next few days, go to see your doctor because you could be having a mild allergic reaction to the sting.

You may be mildly allergic, but since this sting happened Sunday I doubt it's more than that. Itching is normal in a sting site. I should know: I got stung in my foot many years ago when I was playing badminton with my brother!

A baking soda paste may help. And alcohol on the site will help relieve the itch.

The mud is a good idea because it usually will help draw out the stinger. I would check and make sure that the stinger has been removed from your foot first of. Then, try taking some benedral for allergic reacton and you can either put some baking soda on it or try some tree tea oil.

Take some Benadryl to relieve the symptoms. I got stung a few years ago on the underside of my arm - and it swelled and itched for days - very uncomfortable but it will clear up. Feel better soon!!

thats easy! well, my mom's a nurse at a hospital. What you have to do is look closely and see if the stinger is still in u, cuz thats what has the poison. If it does, take like, a credit card, and rub it perallel to the sting to try and get the stinger out. Once you do, than [ut ice on it to stop it from swelling, and than put a bandaid on it:) good luck!!!

crush up an asprin and add a little water until you get a paste. put the paste on the bottom of your foot and wait until it dries. this will extract the venom of the bee sting and the stinger if it is still in there. it will also help with the itching.

Benadryl will reduce the itching and swelling, but it causes drowsiness that can be felt almost right away.

try a baking soda paste, just enough water to make it stick to your foot, usually best right after the sting, but may help...
