Some men just want to make sure they have the right girl. A lot of guys will fall for any girl if they do the right things. I think it mostly has to do with the fact that men don't want to end up with the wrong person for them. Love is a strong word. Deep feelings should be satisfactory until that person is ready to make the Love commitment. Give them their space but don't let them take advantage. Let love find its own way...who wants a forced relationship anyways ya know?

The male ego for all its machismo is a very frail thing. Men do not handle rejection well when in the love arena. We tend to protect our hearts. We can deal rather well with most any pain except the pain of the heart. There is no band-aid, no balm that can soothe the pain of a broken heart. Alcohol only takes the pain away for the moment. It is a pain that can linger for years and may never go away. So we put up walls, a Maze if you will that you must navigate. Just like you may test the character of a man with which you may interested. We put up walls for you to climb over or go around.

No it is not just a man thing. If you read the questions women write in tells it all. I don't want to hurt him and he loves me and I do not really love him and blah blah blah. If you had that to put up with you would take your time also. I did not take my time because I believed what I was told, "Oh yes honey, forever. We will never part." Four years later a bf and divorce. Does that give you a clearer picture of why? You deal with the scenario with you being the guy and you can decide for yourself. duah!

Because they dont want to waste their time on something that they are not sure of. we do things in a very precise way, and we like to be 100% sure that its well worth it to go ahead and let our emotional defenses down.
Its not that we take long to fall in love, we just dont show our feelings unless we are certain that you feel as strong as we do.
if we say "I have deep feelings for you" then its probably true.
and most likely, they are deep in our pants.
as soon as we are sure that we wont look like an idiot, saying the 3 words that can kill a relationship, then we will let you know. some of us are just more subtle than others and wont come straight out and say it.

When men say "i have feelings for you", it means I want sum hot lovin from you. It may seem that men don't fall in love that quick, it all depends on you women treat the men. If we ask and it is given right away at anythime, then the quicker things happen.

Girl, I wish we knew. Girls are more emotional and have the need to show emotion. Guys for some reason aren't like that and girls tend to take it that the guy isn't interested. I can't understand men either. I have a great guy right now, but he doesn't want to get married. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother with guys.

because most men arent the type to just fall for a girl most of the time they like a girl for physical looks and what shell give up(you know what i mean). and they say that stuff to "get some"!!! you have to connect on an emotional level and theyll come around.

They don't take long to fall in love, they just take long to express them selves. They aren't the mush gusy type, so they find it weird to express their feelings openly. I don't think it's a man thing, cuz I would want to be sure before I told someone i loved them.

For me at least, love has to grow. It isn't something that can happen in the blink of an eye. Deep feelings do emerge as it grows but love----- true love at least----- has to develop and evolve. There's a process to it. :) But once it does happen, it's GREAT! ;)
Hope this helps.
