I live in Sacramento, California.Supposedly we have the 19th largest media market.Sacramento is the state capital of the 6th largest economy yet local political coverage is next to neil. This is an embarassment. The stories at the capital are a dime a dozen(literally). Bribery, cunning, collusion, conflicts of interest, lobbying against ourselves with our purchases, grants for science, space exploration, medical discoveries, and a infinite amount of "other" stories. Yet the local news dedicates more time educating their viewers about entertainment and people who really just don't matter.(This is a bad example..Everyone matters) But in certain context. I'd rather know other things regarding government matters opposed to learning that Brad and Angeline had a kid.Who cares really? We should care about the reasons the media doesn't cover certain important issues. Are they the media influence in bed with the politicians? This is why I want the world's vote. I demand answers.
