Why would god make a person like me feel so driven to support two people who want to love eachother?

Why do people attribute ordinary life to supernatural beings? If you can figure that out, you'll have your answer.

If "god is love", then why wouldn't he support two people who are in love, no matter what the circumstance?

From the perspective of Christian Faith God is not doing as you describe. That leading is coming from a much darker source.
homosexuality is a sin. God will not lead you to sin....period

Maybe you're one of the small minority of people who can hear 'God' over the cacophony of noise made by bigots who screech about a deity as narrow minded and mean as they are.

That's not God honey. God gave you rules and free will to LET you live them by. Whether you choose to abide by them or not is your choice. But it's still sinning in my book....

If you want to attribute it to God, Satan, Buddha, Krishna, that's your deal. I think we all need to drop the bigotry and remember that religion should be kindness and faith should be love.
God doesn't like being told what He thinks.

Thats not God, its you and your on fleshly desires that want that. True Agape(God love) would want them to get saved and stop them from sinning.
