I enjoy it, I think for the most part I'm doing good, I wish I could get paid for this.

My reasons are much the same as yours. If my advice is well received then I am happy. It feels good to help another person and give someone the ability of looking at a problem from another direction.

I like giving advise to help the person who is having a problem to make them feel better. Sometimes I feel bit good about my self or glad I helped anyway, glad they feel better. If I can help anyone that's good. I'm not sure, I mostly do it for them. Sometimes u get people suffering with all kinds of problems it's just not nice to see people so unhappy.

On this forum, of course I like giving advise. That's part of the whole point of it, isn't it? Besides, on YA I'm the one who's choosing to give advise. Away from here it all depends. There are times I hate giving advise. I don't like to give advise to people who want me to make decisions for them because they don't want to think for themselves. I also don't like giving advice to someone who doesn't even want to listen to advise, or who will do what they want regardless of the advise.
Also, depending on what the situation is, it's not necessarily a question of like or dislike. Sometimes you just have to remain sympathetic or tactful with whatever advise you give because of the sensitivity/seriousness of the question, like relationships or health.

I feel that my life experiences may be able to benefit others, and maybe give someone a perspective on an issue they may not have thought of.

I like giving advice because I like to help others and I've got nothing else better to do.

I actually like getting intelligent advice. There are some well educated and well informed people here that I have learned from.
Hope you have an opened mind as well.

Just allowing there are options, gives a person something else to add to their storehouse of knowledge.

I don't think of the motive because it's basically disinterested. Like breathing. I don't think about that, either.
