We should finish the job. An active democracy in that region of the globe will benefit human rights, deter terrorism, and promote peace.

We leave when the Iraqi forces are trained and able to take over. Troops in the quiet Kurdish North area may be replace soon by Iraqis. In the Brit controlled South, Things are moving toward a turn over as well. This fixation with a calender by politicans is dumb. The commanders on the ground are the ones who should decide on numbers needed to do the job. Not Congressmen running for office. As for Deaths. Frankly they are quite low. Some places in Iraq are safer to be in than North Phila. at 2 am.

We will have troops there in years to come. The number will just fall. Lets take a look at history. Besides Vietnam we have troops in EVERY single place we've been at war with in the last 100 years. Germany, Japan, Korea, Italy, ect ect. I think we should slowly pull our troops out little by little but not totally. Once the Iraq army is competant enough to hold down the resistance we'll pull our main forces out.

likely by using very reality Bush admitted there have been no WMD in Iraq. Then Bush went on television and made jokes about they'd be accessible someplace. this change into by the time of a White living domicile dinner and over 4 thousand troops died and Bush is making jokes. The CIA counseled Bush 3 days before he attacked Iraq they could no longer detect any WMD. likely Wikileaks isn't so proper counseled on the academic.

No -Not -just Yet. War is tragic. Everybody loses, there are no winners in a war. We have lost thousands of lives, as well as Iraqi, lives and other countrys also..The phrophets said there would be wars and rumors of wars before the end of time... (I pray the whole Nation will bow on bended knee to ask for forgiveness.) So we once again can be the chosen Nation in Gods eyes.

This one of the lowest casualties in war. I do not think you can look at numbers to decide what is right. If we had the the past, Hitler would have won easily. The American Revolution would have been won by the British. Argue does not hold water.

The actual context to 9/11 and our war on terror began in November of 1979 when Islamic Fachists seized our embasys in Iran and held them for 444 days as our president was impotent to stop them, and only when confronted with the prospect of possible retalitory airstrikes and or war on the VERY SAME DAY AND MOMENT THAT PRESIDENT RONALD REAGEN WAS BEING SWORN IN AS OUR 40 TH PRESIDENT ON JANUARY 20th,1981 did the planes carrying our diplomats clear Iranian airspace on the way home to freedoom.

Although I am not a strong supporter of war, I do not feel we can pull out now. We went in to help create a "democratic" society there and we can not leave in the middle. I think it would be a gross injustice to the men and women that have fought and/ or died over there to leave the job unfinished..

we should finish what we went there to do (but i think one was WMDs, right???) which was give the iraqi people a real democracy....i can't even imagine what that must be like.....like we were about 200 years ago....makes you think....and to the person above me, i have had 2 cousins, a brother, myself and my wife all serve in the armed forces for the last TEN years....obviously you've never seen a friend die doing something we think is right, and then you want to abandon the cause that we are all priveleged to take part in....i say shame on you!!!

we should pull out, and to the man who said we should finish the job, you clearly have not lost a family member to this stupid war. We are never going to completley erradicate the Taliban, why should we continue losing lives and money over this. Bush needs to turn his attention back to his own country.

Deaths while tragic should not be the reason to pull out, The Iraqi government will determine when. They are driving the Bus, not George.
