we love our cats dearly and want to take them where ever we go but it is hard to find apts that allow pets in canada especially in ontario is there apartment finders available

Apartment is out of question - get a house rental where you can use a small room, like sunroom, basement, or any room, for your cats to free roaming at. I'm not sure about Ontario, but here in USA, people who want to rent an apartment have to pay $25 dollars per month PER pet! So most house rental don't do that unless you keep it quiet.

I ran into the same problem just recently. I lived in a one bedroom and wanted to get a bigger place. My husband and I had a difficult time because we have six cats and a dog. We live in Toronto. We just kept looking into places until we came across our current apartment close to High Park. When we first talked to our current landlord and told him about the pets he was a little unhappy about the numbers but our references checked out so he let us move in. I don't know of any registries in Ontario that list pet friendly places. We just talked to people and responded to adds until we found one. Good Luck.

Try putting an ad in your local of where you want to move for home in the country. Make sure it has an extra room or enclosed porch so the cats have their own space. I usually have lots of cats too. We did own our own home once but our city had pet limit of four so we couldn't have many.

Ask everyone you know, ask stores if you could put up posters, you could put adds in newspapers, or even put flyers up on people's doors.
