I shooed my cat away from my soda, and then she tuned around, stood up, and kicked it off the table, dancing and singing "Cha cha cha." How do I punish this blatant act of disobedience?

really?!! send your cat to an audition and if he gets a gig, pocket all the money and give him nothing. that should be punishment enough.

i'm horrified that someone stated you declaw your cat. that is this kind of cruel aspect to do and is the equivalent of reducing off human fingers on the knuckle. this is unlawful right here contained in the united kingdom and for good reason. you should appreciate that besides the actual incontrovertible reality that your cat is domesticated, she continues to be ruled by animal instinct. She isn't doing something incorrect in bringing contained in the lizards and could no longer be punished. She accepts you as part of her delight and purely interior a similar way you grant nutrition, she also needs to grant nutrition for the delight. attempting to remedy it by preserving her in gained't end it because she will be in a position to't deny her instincts. possibly you in straight forward words ought to settle for that it really is her contribution and settle for her the way she is. She feels like a impressive cat :)

This might not work for your cat, because she sounds so vengeful & smart for this... A good way to discipline most cats is to use a spray bottle filled with water and spray her when she does something bad. You have to make sure to do it fast enough so she understands what it is she did wrong. If I don't have a spray bottle and I see my cat about to do something bad I will yell or make a loud sound and that usually deters her. Just to be clear, you never want to physically hurt an animal.

Force it to sign a contract where it agrees to work at a cat cabaret, six shows a day, seven days a week, with no benefits or health insurance.

I agree with Fuzzy Liz, or you could put some water in a spray bottle and spray her with it. Cats usually hate water on them.
