Man, I hate to tell you this but if you find a Camaro or Mustang with a V-8 in it for 1K to 2K, you don't even want it. It would be death trap! People who have these cars and appreciate them take good care of them and therefore expect top dollar for their cars. The ones for that kind of money have been hammered to death, wrecked, engines replaced, etc. etc. Now if you plan to build your own, then go for it. If you start with junk, the worst thing you could do is lose some time and a little money. Good luck.

You aren't going to get a Camaro or Mustang in that price range that runs or that is even whole. If you want to throw in an extra 6k, I have a Camaro up for sale. Good luck in your search.

Yeah my brother has a camaro. I think he was asking 1500 for it. But it's broke down and needs work.
