Sorry we are overcrowded now.
Sorry-America;
There is a lot to see here. Many luxuries. Our Cities are stunning. All kinds of people of all races, nationalities, religions cultures. And it is not hard to be friendly.
Down side-Political up heaving, crooked government, Our Services Schools and Medical and State funding is in trouble. Our legal system is in trouble--the Justice system are not taking the bad element off the street. But with so many people who notices it.
If you to come-enjoy but be careful.
And yes we are overcrowded.

While there are many countries, specifically in Europe, that have a higher standard of living than the US; nonetheless, the US has a vastly better standard of living than most of the world. Most people in the US have relatively good access to education and employment. Most people in the US have good access to clean water, food, and luxuries, including air conditioners, cars, refrigerators, and what not. Health care is a bit problematic in the US, but many Americans, if not most, have some access to health care. Above all, though crime is a problem in some urban settings and througout the country to a lesser extent, people in the US live in relative ease. While the threat of terrorism exists, it is NOT a reality happening every day in the US. The US, while it may be at war abroad, is free from strife within its borders. Generally speaking, in the US, you have a high liklihood of living to an advanced old age and then when you die, it will probably be because you have been too successful and had too much food or something else that is good for you except in excess.

USA is the greatest country in the world in my opinion. No matter what race/color you are, you are all united because you are an american.
come on over, where are you currently?
to the reply below:
"We are constantly pushing our ideals on countries that would most cases be better off without our help. True it is our objective to help these countries, but can't help but wonder if they would do better with a Socialistic government rather than a Democratic one."
the Iraqi people wanted freedom and WMDs have been found in Iraq. The Iraqis want the insurgents out (who aren't even iraqi citizens btw, they are iranians) and are enjoying their new freedoms.
Socialism doesn't work. It is something the liberals in this country will never understand. Why spread the wealth to a loser drug addict who did nothing with his life? Why shoud someone who works hard pay for them?

That depends on what you are looking for in a country. The people here for the most part are kind and outspoken. The bureaucracy is a totally different case. Our government has agenda's which sometimes do not reflect the popular opinion. We are constantly pushing our ideals on countries that would in most cases be better off without our help. True it is our objective to help these countries, but I can't help but wonder if they would do better with a Socialistic government rather than a Democratic one.

Well, I can only speak from my experiences of the other 3 countries I've lived and visited. In my opinion there is no country on earth as great as the USA. I love to travel and look forward to visiting the rest of the world, but for me, this is the best.

It was better before W became president and decided that everyone who spoke their mind was the enemy if they didn't agree with him. But for the most part, people here are friendly and willing to help (at least here in the Midwest), though the urban crime rate is high. Generally, I know more good people than bad people, but part of it is probably how you treat others. If I smile at someone, they usually smile back.

I think that it is good.
I lived in Seoul for a year and have only visited other countries, so my perspective is somewhat limited.
However, you will find that there are many regions and cultures within the United States; at least one of which you would likely enjoy.
Plenty of jobs. Plenty of freedom. Overall, not too shabby.

I love my home the U.S.A. I have lived in many other countries and although I enjoyed my time and the people there, I was always happy to be home again. No place is perfect for everyone, but I am overjoyed at being home in America again.

its good from the opportunity vantage point (jobs, school, etc) We struggle a bit with personal freedoms (well more now than ever before) but we are still better off than most other countries. But all in all there are pros and cons for living just about anywhere.
