Yeah, war never solved ANYTHING, well except:

Naziism, communism, expansionism, fascism, and terrorism.

We should've like, got them all together and like, just talked about stuff and like then no one would've had to die, except all the people who were already killed but like, it's better to kill you know, less...

Dear Oky:
Mankind as lond as we exist, will ALWAYS be locked in a battle of that which is right and that which is wrong.
While people may differ on many issues can anyone really doubt that president Rossevelt was wrong to defeat Nazi Germany or president Clinton was incorresct to bomb Belgrade into stopping genocide/evil in Kosovo.
There will always be war and coflict, your intellectual and moral challenge is to study closey the Catholic Churchs position on just war and why killing and the horrors of war are the only option.
Best Regards now and Always.
Sincerely,
John P Quinn

Most likely because of ignorance, misunderstanding and the inability to even phrase a question correctly. Just kidding. I think it's because of a "them thar horses is mine" mindset. Plus, somebody's got to do something about rampant overbreeding. We're losing that war, I think.

It's all about the allocation of resources. If you have a resource in abundance that I'm lacking, guess what? I'm gonna take yours. If you don't want me to have yours, you'd better be prepared to fight for it.

Ta da: War.
