The fresher the eggs, the harder to peel. Try and peel as hot as possible (after cracking, see below) -while running them under cold water. I was given another tip a long time ago and still works for me - after they are cooked, bounce them around in the pot (after you drain off the water) so they are cracked a lot -- super easy to peel (most of the time).

depends on how fresh they are. Eggs have an air pocket in them and as they age the air pocket grows bigger. After you boil the egg crack the shell and run them under cold water. Getting water between the shell and membraine makes it easier to peel.

Run the egg under COLD water, then crack. Roll the egg so the crack is fully around the egg and peal. The key is COLD water. Also, if the eggs are old, they will be difficult to peel.

First thing you need to know is the freshness of the eggs you are intending to boil. The rule is the fresher they are, the more difficult it is to peel them.

i find that if you hold the egg under running water at the sink while peeling it is eaiser, also sometimes if the eggs are hard to peel means that you have been having them for awhile or that they were over cooked

If you add salt to the water before you start boiling it helps.
