My first piece of advice is to keep your mouth shut about crossdressing around the ignorant. A lot of people assume that crossdressers are gay, but in fact many are straight. (Gay crossdressers are called "drag queens"; straight ones are merely "transvestites").

Secondly, anyone who tries to convince you that crossdressing is a sin is a fool. Look at most the women in the West, for heaven's sake. We've all taken to "crossdressing" on a daily basis. Any woman wearing pants should not have the right to complain about a man wearing a dress.

Next, there's nothing wrong with adorning yourself in whatever way appeals to you, so long as you realize that there is a place and a time for everything. Do wear a flattering dress and high heels when you go to the alternative goth club, but don't wear them to work.

Lastly, understand that while there are women out there who will be accepting of crossdressing, there aren't many who will be attracted to a man who does it. Finding female friends who like to shop with you or have slumber parties with you may be easy enough, but finding a girlfriend who can deal with it is another issue. Personally, it wouldn't bother me one bit if I were truly interested in someone so long as he did the masculine thing more often than the feminine one.

I don't quite understand... Are you asking for advice for yourself because you badly want to be a crossdresser, or someone else because they're a bad wannabe crossdresser?

For the first, I'd say rock on; for the latter, I'd say... erm, try to get them to crossdress in a more modest way.

I think if it makes you happy you should it, and the end of the day we are only talking about clothes and make up, no one gets hurt so where is the harm.
My brother is a cross dresser and since he told me we have become much closer and he is a happier and more confident person, he is lucky because he is convincing but even if you only do it at home behind closed doors my advice would be to get yourself some nice pretty things and enjoy being you.
Good luck

You crossdress if you want. It harms no one. Don't listen to the religious bigots who'll tell you it's a sin and you're going to hell. That's just BS based on a book of ancient fairytales.

Sin lies only in hurting other people unnecessarily. All other 'sins' are invented nonsense

I'm not sure what you mean, but if you want to be a crossdresser go right ahead. And don't listen to the simpletons who say don't do it because it's in the bible.

well considering you are posting this is the "religion and spirituality" section, tells me that you don't approve and are looking for others that don't approve as well. My advice would be to worry about your own life and worry less about what other people are doing and wearing. If you are being serious, my advice would be to offer to go shopping with them. Be supportive of them like you would be for any other friend.

Of course you had to put this in the section where a large percentage would bash you. I personally see no problem with men who choose to dress in women's clothes or vice versa. They're just clothes...

don't mix your patterns. remember to shave you legs before you put on pantyhose I've been told that itches. Make sure you don't use too much makeup as natural is always better. Have fun.
