You should listen to your mother. She may seem old fashioned, but she didn't just get placed on earth yesterday. She had a boyfriend or two in her life (or else you probably wouldn't be around). She's been through the heart ache. She's just trying to save you some. It may seem unfair, but she is doing it because she loves you, and doesn't want to see you get hurt. Trust me, she'd probably rather see nothing more than you happy and walking down the aisle with your perfect man (especially now that you've become a teenager (I hope)). But sometimes mom's still do have that sixth sense about things. Trust her.

If you're living at home and still her responsibility she can make any rules she wants. If you go behind her back eventually she will find out and she won't be able to trust you. Is having a boyfriend worth that? What you can do is ask her why she's so against you having a boyfriend....is it just this boy or all boys in general. Then the next step is to show her that you are trustworthy and she'll ease up on you. You have to prove yourself first.

Listen to your mom, wait as long as you can before you get wrapped up in the boy drama. Believe me your not missing anything special, plus by waiting, the more guys will want to be with you when your ready. take your time, dont rush, enjoy being you before a guy comes along and tries to take that away.

my mom was the same way. once i told her about him they let up alittle once they had talked to me and met him. now were engaged and live together. everything happens for a reason is what i say. just talk to her and find out what the big deal is about u having a b/f and let her know that she can trust u. honesty is the key and i guess it also depends on age. i wasnt suppose to date till i was 18 and this happened when i was 16. Good Luck!!!!!

I don't know your age, your id is sexychick. And I assume you are complaining cause your Mom is strict. You just hooked up with one! What does that mean.
I would guess that you can show your Mom that you know the score, you will act mature and not have sex because you want to.
