Franklin County/St. Louis County but will travel further if necessary. My "green cheek" needs his yearly vaccination, and I need to be able to contact a vet when neccessary.

Vogel Vet Hospital in Arnold Missouri sees birds, also Stonegate Animal Hospital at Hwy 141 and Big Bend (old 141), Webster Groves Animal Hospital, but that's a little further. I prefer the one in Arnold but it's up to you.

Dr. David J. Kersting is a well-known avian vet and comes highly recommended. His contact information is:

132 Four Seasons Shopping Center
Chesterfield, MO 63017
314-469-6661

I also highly recommend the Varietees Bird Store for regular grooming visits and other supplies. They are well-respected in the bird community and I always find them to be exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. In fact, Dr. Kersting and his staff regularly come to the shop for grooming appointments and educational seminars.

The store's contact information is:
Varietees Bird Shop
208 Meramec Station Road
Valley Park, MO 63088
636-225-2473

Here's their website:

Good luck with your green cheek. They're sweet little birds.
