iasked him and had friends ask him if he likes me and keeps on saying that he loves me but hardley ever talks to me unlese we are around other people. He doesn't seem like he likes me.

I have really great advice for you: don't believe her. Maybe she's just jealousy? Is this guy pretty? If the answer is: yes. she evident envy you. Go out with this boy and have great time.
P.S. Think: Would he still going out with you, if he won't like you?
P.S.2. Mybe he don't like you, maybe he loves you :)

ask him. Dont make a decision based on hearsay b/c your friends telling you this may have other intentions besides you being happy. (I know, people did it to me and I later found out it was b/c they liked him, or they just wanted to start drama.) Asking him is your best bet. Read his body language around you. If he sits next to you and always turns his body away this is a good sign he is not interested. If he doesn't want to hold your hand or anything like that, thats another sign. Don't get me wrong, I am engaged and sometimes sit with my body or legs away from him, but thats why I mentioned something else to go on. Some guys don't like public affection, but if he does it when it is just you 2 then you might wanna ask him about it. If you introduces you as his friend and not his girlfriend, that is a sure sign he is not into you. No matter what he does or doesn't do, if you are together and he really likes you, you aren't just his friend. Asking him, there is a chance he will lie...but if you read his body language and you feel that he is lying to you when he answers.....I would rethink the relationship. Most friends mean well, but some don't always have your best interest at heart. And considering its your friends telling you this and not his....it would make me wonder personally.

If he's going out with you, he likes you. Don't put too much stock in what friends say...sometimes they don't always have your best interest at heart. You should know how he treats you as to whether or not he likes you.

If he says he likes you than believe him. Friends sometimes get jealous and want to break up the relationship.

stop sleeping with him, if he leaves he was only there for the sex and he doesn't really like you but at least you'll know
