These days you can learn how to speak German over the internet. Check out this online course, it's voted as the best German online course of all time: http://www.rocketlanguages.link/german The course is very easy to follow, I was able to learn German in just 3 months.

I live in New York City, I wanted to go to a German language teacher but that would have cost me over $800 per month. Good thing with this internet, $800 it's a lot of money for me.

If you are really serious about a language, I definitely recommend Rosetta Stone. Free websites aren't exactly the ideal way of learning an entire language.

Son, you can go to any library and check out these texts.
You may learn to write to a limited extent. You cannot learn to speak it without schooling or a teacher.

I know from experience. I learned from books, then a teacher.

Unless you vist those countries and immerse yourself. Sorry, nothing is free. Good luck in learning all those languages.
