Ok, well its sort of a long story, but to make it short... I broke up with my boyfriend, but I really regret it. I really do. But he told my friend he doesn't care if he ever talks to me again. He said he still wants me back though. So I am a little confused on what to do. Should I talk to him, or just let him go? My parents do not like him at all, but I think I can have my own choices, right? It just kills me to never talk to him ever again. He said being friends would just remind him of what he could have had. So what do I do? Would it be too awkward if I started talking to him again, and if I do, what do I say?

if you really want him back go ahead and talk to him before its too late....if you don't you'll regret that too! It's completely your choice who you go out with so don't think that much about your parents. Also when you talk to him, don't do it as "just a friend" be straight about your feelings...since you broke up with him, you should try to get him back cause he won't (men are too proud). Excuse me, but I don't understand how he can want you back, but he doesn't care if he ever talks with you again! That doesn't make any sense at all! I hope that I'm not being offensive to you, but it sounds like he is only wanting you back for one thing! Maybe your parents can see the selfish and disrespecting side of this guy, and you were, and still are to blind to see it for your self! Yes you can make your own choices, but when your family can see that the choices that you are making just might hurt you, you should sit and listen to their point of view. Their advise just might make you begin to open up your eyes and see the true facts about him for your self!

first of all this is not complete because u do no telly u broke up with him but......... what ever happened give hem another chance he probably feels the same way u do.
U shouldn't even care about what Ur parents think they can't control Ur every move. and don't become friends because it's not going to work out that way, then when he goes out with someone else u will be heart broken. but do take some time to think about.

I say give it some time apart from him and don't rush into something your not sure about. You also need to keep in mind he maybe playing games with you. If he has good intentions you need to hear it from him. Tell him you don't want to play any games.
Why don't your parents like him? Is he worth it?

But talk to him when he's cooled down. Don't talk to his friends. Don't let other people know you're talking to him.
