See there is this boy that i like, he is my cuban friend and i don't know how to ask him out. I am very shy when it comes to guys and asking them out. My friend is 16 and i am turning 15 in less than two weeks.I need some help!!! Should i ask my best friend to ask him out for me?I tried to write him a note and have my best friend give it to him but she keeps on forgetting it, and besides i dont know what to write in a note to a guy, especially this guy. Ok i will leave my best friend out of it, i don't even know why i thought about having her do it, but how am i gonna tell him how i feel with all of our other friends hanging around? Thats the hard part. I can't tell him with everyone else around because i am really shy. What should i say in the letter that i write him besides "hey, i know we have been friends for a long time but i was wondering if u would go out with me?" I can tell him both in person and in a letter that i am going to write him. Will that work out? I just need to know what to say to him and in the letter. I am in a very tough situation where i can't go see him unless i don't get caught by my dad or my aunt or one of my uncles workers. Thats why i sneak out of the house during the night and whenever my dad and aunt arent around. But i dont give a **** now whether i get caught and get fussed and bitched at because its worth the risk to go see him and get in trouble. Does that make any sense whatsoever? PLZ PLZ HELP!!!

Well, the advice I would give to myself if I had this problem(which i have had before) is to go for it! Tell him in person that you likr him and you hope he likes you to. I have alot of guy friends and they all come to me for advice on girls. They all say they hate to get notes from someones best friend asking them out. They love girls who are brave enough to ask them themselves! And if he says no then at least you know and you can try to move on!! Keep in touch and tell me hoe it goes. sammie_robison@yahoo.com

NO note, notes can not send the message you really want to send, they can mislead him or make you look dumb and desprate unless you are Mark Twain. Just ask, You never know until you ask. No do not ask your best friend to do it for you. That will not end well I promise. Usually the best friend ends up with the guy in that situation. Go up to him and ask him if he wants to go out as friends. Starting as friends is usually the best way to start any relationship. Ask him as if he were one of your routine friends. I had a guy friend in highschool and that is how I did it. No pressure on him or you if the date is not called a date and you are just going out as friends. He will then probably ask you out the next time as friends and so the cycle begins.

You should just do it and BY ALL MEANS, LEAVE THE BEST FRIEND OUT OF IT!!
YOU WILL LOOK UP AND SHE AND CUBAN GUY WILL BE GOING OUT WITHOUT YOU!!
ALWAYS DO YOUR OWN COMMUNICATING, YOU DON'T NEED A MIDDLE MAN TO TALK FOR YOU. THAT IS ONE OF THE WORST THINGS A PERSON CAN DO.
ASK HIM FACE TO FACE ON YOUR OWN!!!
If you can't talk to him to ask him out, how will you talk to him once you two do go somewhere together?

I know you're really shy, but if you think of yourself as TOO shy, then you'll never be able to get anywhere with him!
I think the best way to tell somebody you like them is when you're having fun together. You're both having fun, laughing, smiling, and you say, "I really like you" with a big smile on your face. If he does, too, he'll say it to you, probably, or "Thanks" or something.
If you're really just wanting to ask him "out," then say, "Hey, you want to watch me beat you in air hockey tonight?" or something else that sound just like friends.
If you want him to be your boyfriend, you could say, "You know what I think would be so great for my birthday? YOU."

It must be done in person. If you right a note he will think you are a child and not take you seriously.
If you are interested in spending time with someone you need to be comfortable enough with yourself to ask him. He will be flattered and if he is interested, you will know right away.

Well, if your that shy then you have two choices: gather your courage and ask him out or have your friend ask his friend what he thinks of you. its info gathering time so if you know him pretty well then you probably know the answer to your question.
just ask him already! don't be shy. if your going to be shy like this then you might act this way for the rest of your life. just go for it!

Tell him you like him.
Don't get someone to ask him out for you, do it yourself.
If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself.
