Ok! Yeah it might be a lil' drastic but I still think the enviornment has a right to defend itself...and I would have included the Dems but they can never agree to be in the same place at the same time!

OK...I would have included the Dems in there but I figured since they can never agree to be in the same place at the same time I don't need to worry about them...they are destroying themselves...but I was kinda thinking the convention might be the only place that Cheney and Bush are in the same place at the same time!

I guess that would depend on what you'd call a natural disaster. If the electoral percess is a system of votes and the constituents are spread more or less randomly across the country, than the odds of having the idiots in office that we presently have would fall under the law's of natural selection. Therefore this would constitute as a natural disaster and yes it would be ironic because the people we have in office don't believe in natural selection.

Irony, yes it would qualify, even the most moderate environmentalist can see that. Make it better? No, because they'd be mourned, deified and copied by some other numpties.
Replace "destroyed by a natural disaster" with "their brains wiped and reprogrammed with new identities as burger flippers", then yes and yes.

The only way the US would improve is if BOTH parties were destroyed by a natural disaster and the Party of Common Sense rises from the ashes

it would lead to an imbalance of the universe.
so the best thing in an event like that is for the Democratic party to be "washed" out and let the Marijuana Party take over (heard the leader for that group is a real stoner.)
ha.

That would qualify as irony, but it's horrible to wish that so many people would be destroyed. It would almost be worth it, but it's still just not nice.

Yep, then Iran would only be the only rogue state with a really scary right wing woman-hating religious government.
