They do this because it is part of teaching you how to survive in the real world. Some day you are going to be out there in the world on your own and all those chores that your mom and dad take care of for you will have to be done by you and you alone. They are also trying to teach you responsibility. Considering all that your parents provide for you in your life is doing some pretty easy chores really such a bad way of showing your appreciation?

Because moms are afraid that if they say nothing, a child will never volunteer to do their fair share of work in the home. From the day you are born, they have to do everything for you. When you get to an age where you can actually help relieve some of your parents chores....you dont, why? Because you are used to having everything done for you.
Its frustrating and tiring doing the same thing every day....YOU know that...and just because they are older doesnt make it easier for them either. If you love your parents but feel they are making too many demands, why not make up a daily short list (bearing in mind what they keep asking you to do)...and say...mom, from now on I will do what you ask AND I will do these too. AND STICK TO YOUR PROMISE.
I bet you dont hear anything but good things if you do that. People dont nag if they are getting some of their needs met. AND you will feel better for having made a daily contribution to your family. Plus you'll get a headstart on learning empathy, respect and caring which is awesome in an adult.

Its the role of a parent to shape you into an obedient person to send into society so do the dam chores and blah blah blah.

Obviously, you were not raised on a farm. You could be picking up rocks, baling hay, pitching manure, weeding the garden, blah, blah, blah. Quit bitching and just do it.

Because they're only one person... they can't do it all by themselves! Help out your mom and feel good about it. It will benifit, too, with allowance, if that's what you want. Or just love. Also, when you grow up, you'll need to have these skills because most likely nobody will be doing these kinds of things for you.

Because moms want their children to learn to be a responsible
adult and know how to do things. Moms won't always be there
to help you when you need them the most.

I FEEL YOU GIRL MY MOM IS THE SAME WAY SO TO PREVENT THIS ON THE WEEKEND I TRY MY BEST TO GET OUT THE HOUSE I ALWAYS MANAGE TO.MAYBE YOU SHOULD FIND PLAINS FOR YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS TO DO OR EVEN YOU AND OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR FAMILY.SUCH AS YOUR COUSIN,AUNT,DAD,BROTHER,SISTER,UNCLE OR EVEN YOUR GRANDMA.
IF YOU DON'T KNOW IT WOULD BE COOL TO HAG OUT WITH YOUR DAD ESPEACIALLY IF HE'S COOL.
I MOSTLY SPEND TIME WITH MY DAD BECAUSE HE'S THE COOLIEST EVER.
JUST FIND A PLACE TO BE RATHER HOME WITH YOUR MOM.
JUST TRYING TO GIVE ALITTLE ADVICE NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN!!!!!!!

because it's gotta get done and she's only one person. If you help her out without her having to tell you, guess what that might make her life a little easier and you could benefit from it.
