I don't think it was the internet that made young people lazy.

There are more entertaining reasons that people are lazy these days, but the internet definitely contributes. I would say that overall, the internet has, and will keep making people more intelligent...let's say better educated instead. People are still lacking in intelligence.

It started with technology before the internet. Calculators did the work of the brains. Now computers give answers to questions without research and/or thought.

More than the internet is involved. All aspects of home entertainment have led the youth in this country away from outdoor activity.

no before the internet ppl were bored and lazy too. i can remember as a kid how boring it was sometimes and how i wished the net was around back then . man why wasnt bill gates a child genuis and made this back then

not really. But that is a factor. Mostly eating fast food and watching TV. Ever noticed that the worst stuff on the menu for you is always the cheapest?

yes!!!!!! i do believe this.
even i, who exercise regularly (5 times a week) still don't wanna do crap when I come home. I just wanna head straight to the computer and play :[ i use the internet as an excuse to not fold my laundry! *gasp*

Because it's so easy to get trapped in staring at something that reacts to what you put into it. It can also be easier to get ahold of friends when you have different instant messengers.

no its really the parents falt 4 letting us have it! I thought parents would like that hey at least were not the drugy generaion!
