It's nothing personal, I'm just curious what sort of response I get. Because I happen to think I have the solution to this entire mess. The Republican Party isn't concerned about whether you vote Dem or GOP. They are concerned about you voting at all. You see, the more people that vote in this country, the more I believe it hurts the Republican Party. I firmly believe the majority of this country still sides with the Democratic factions and ideals, so of course the GOP will pull out all stops to keep YOU from voting. It certainly makes sense to me. You can easily win an election if voter turnout is poor. Ask Ken Blackwell in Ohio; he has systematically made it next to impossible to register to vote these days. I believe he thinks if he can keep the voting down, he will win. Agree or not?

I will vote because I always do, however, I am hoping that the next presidential election actually has some worthy selections. I have been voting AGAINST people and not for people for the last 6 years. And the only reason the Republicans keep winning is because the Democrats can't decide where they stand on everything. Which is why we need more than two parties in this country!!

I will vote, but I disagree with your assessment of the Republican party. See, the Dems are going to screw this nation up if they do what they say they want to. What happens is that the Dems offer the people what they want, the problem is that the people don't know what they want. For instance, the Dems want to give the people higher minimum wage, but don't consider how it will negatively affect the economy, the higher prices, the higher cost of living, or the fact that nobody making more than minimum wage will get an increase in pay, that someone is going to lose their job for the companies to compensate, etc. The people just know that higher minimum wage= more money in their pockets. They don't realize that the money won't be worth as much.

And the general population doesn't want to listen or learn either, so neither party tries to explain itself. It won't work, and both parties know that. While the Republicans do hope that Dems stay away from the poles, Dems hope that the general population doesn't start thinking logically about policies. It works both ways.

I'm going to vote. I haven't missed a general election since 1968. And you better believe I'll be voting Republican. I sure don't want you Leftists running this country.

Yes. All Republicans have to do to steal elections is make it very difficult to vote in the crowded blue counties nationwide. The "Christian Right" had better hope there isn't really a hell.

I continue to vote and sometimes wonder why. After all, just look at what we've got to choose from. Have you ever seen such a number of clowns, misfits, crooks and sickos there are running? God help us all!
