Well, I got married at 18 and had my first baby at 20, but i'm now going through a divorce. I think the best age to get married (in my opinion) would be between 23-25.

Some people are ready at 26 and some are never ready.

Getting married and having children when you are young and in love is what some girls dream of. It's not all that we think it is.
The guy you can't live without at 17 is a guy you wouldn't look at when you are 23. People grow and change. Did you know your brain is not fully formed until you are 25 years old?

I know all this is falling on deaf ears, but it is so true. I don't think
anyone should get married until they are mature enough. There is no right or wrong age. It all depends on the two people getting married. SOME people should never have children. Now people have come to that conclusion and don't reproduce because they think they have to....

Whenever you're ready.

I got married at 22 (had just turned) and I am now trying to get pregnant (only a year later). My husband and I are both ready adn we want the same things, so I am confident that our age won't be a hindrance in our lives, but more likely be an advantage. Many people are waiting to have children, but for women, it is much safer and healthier to have kids before age 36... that is when many birth defects and diseases can occur.

I have 2 sisters that did things mush later than I chose to. One is very happy with her decisions and the other is miserable and in the process of divorcing. I think that your relationship with your partner/spouse is the most important. If it isn't stable, wait to have children. You'll need each other's support during that busy time.

I think it is okay to get married at around 25 or so, but I think starting a family should be left until at least 30. There should be enough time to explore the world and mature before starting a family.

i think that there is no perfect age because going through life and talking to even people on here, it seems that any age as long as you're financially capable and physically and emotionally ready and then you're in love, it's ok. So that would be around maybe late twenties to early thirties nowadays since everything is so expensive. But people usually get married and have kids around 20s still.

Get an education, travel the world (this can be done cheaply, if need be) or at least the US. Figure out who you are first - knowledge that only comes with age - then find someone who will love the person you will become and not the young carefree person you maybe/are now.

The average cost to raise a child from birth till 18 is like $300,000 - can you and your husband swing that? What life experiences do you have to pass onto your child?

Once you have kids, that's it. Your own wants & needs never have first priority in your life again.

I think having a family is a great thing to do. However, the age when different people are ready is very individual. Some are ready as early as 19, while others have to mature much more.
