I got like that over a boy when I was 15 and now I can see what exactly happened. First he REALLY liked me, was besotted in fact, but I wasn't too bothered about him. Then when we finished I couldn't believe that he didn't still want me and I became obsessed with getting him back! Basically, we always want what we know we can't have and it becomes like an ache in our stomache. Now, all these years later, I look at photos of him and think "He wasn't all that at all, actually he was as thick as **** and a real moron". You will get over him and then look back and wonder what it was all about.

I think we all have someone make us feel like this and then later on we go on to make someone feel like that over us. When you grow a bit older you will learn by past mistakes. Move on from this heartache and forget him.

Never mind Ducky, some things aren't meant to be. Ah, I remember the days mooning over the gilrls in the 6th form. Those were the days, sigh... No but honestly do some other things. Go out with your Dad or a brother or some neutral bloke who you can have a laugh with. It might break the spell. Especially if you've found the strength of will to ask him if he fancies going out (the object of your affections that is).

try not to think about him, ignore. Hard in the beginning but you will get used to the idea of him not being in your thoughts all the time. Chances are that you will still be nervous if you see him again in 4 more years, that's just how it works in life, but for now, remember- YOU and how YOU feel goes first before anything else, don't let him ruin your young life. You need to move on, there are plenty of guys out there, I promise!

Girl if your really only 15 trust me when I tell you you will overcome this deep poetic injustice of life. BY the way this doesn't mean you should stop trying remember there were at one point only103,773,194 white males for about 107,687,432 white females. The odds are against you .

OK chill. He can probably pick up on the obsession which is why he's scared. Just completely ignore him and watch him edge his way over wondering why you're not obsessed with him anymore.

Guys are strange like that, they moan about getting the attention and are gutted when it stops.

I suggest that you move forward and find a different human male to deal with. You speak as though you are British. If so, you are lucky. There are great men in Europe. Try Italy or Finland.

you are chasing an illusion. how you see him is not how he really is. for a start he's a coward. but your fixation may be something you are using to cover up your feelings about something else. You need to join an activity group that he doesn't go to. Try martial arts...seriously girls do it and it boosts your confidence and self-esteem. learning to look after yourself is a good move and you'll meet lots of other guys. do something that's nothing to do with your school pals.

The thing I find most useful to get over a guy is find like 10 things wrong with him, even if they are stupid, and then go looking for another guy to like, and convince myself that I like this new guy. Then I easily get over the new guy and I am over the old guy at the same time.

Trust me girl he is not worth it. I just got out of a five year thing with this guy that I was with. I always wanted it to be something more than it was but it never turned out to be that way. Trust me there is probably someone out there who wants to sit next to you and hang out with you. Someone that likes you for who you are. That's what's important.
