If the two of you are good friends then you should know how he really feels about this other girl, and if he broke up with her or if it was vise-versa! Which ever way it was, you should show & give him your support! That will let him know that you are, and will always be a true friend! If he had broken up with her, you should give him a few signs that you are interested in him, not only as his friend you should comfort him and let him know how you truly feel, and if she was the one who had broke it off with him, you should tell him that you want to know if he feels the same way for you as well! Make sure that he doesn't only want to be with you because he is on the rebound! You don't want to be with him if he is!
