I dont have time to wash it

I have dealt with this problem myself. I worked as a waitress and I'd come home smelling of smoke. If I didn't have time to shower, I'd freshen up with scented powder. I'd use it on my hair too. I'd sprinkle some on my hands and rub it into my hair. And restyle it. It worked great.

I also heard that taking a fabric softener sheet and running it over your hair freshens it up too. I haven't tried it. I would probably use one that wasn't too scented though.

What is with the stop smoking answers - the girl didnt ask for your personal views, just youyr answers to a specific question. In answer to that question try using a hair product like a heat protector spray (straightening serum works best for me!) hair spray doesn't work as the smell is not strong enough to cover the smoke and perfume will just smell false.

How about not smoking. It's not just your hair that will thank you in the long run. Mind you, you can go to a club and not be a moker and still come home reeking like hell, upon which I wash my hair and blow dry no matter how late (or early morning) it is, because I just would not be able to sleep. But yeah, if you have no choice at all, hair spray might help a little.

I wonder why you don't have time to wash your hair. Are you a woman? And you don't have time for your hair? You probably smoke? What is the source of the smokey smell? First stop the source then wash with black soap( specially made from Nigeria)

Oh I forgot you dont have time to wash.No spray can remove the smokey smell. Iam sorry!

Sprays only mask the smokey smell for a small time. The only way to get rid of the smell totally is to wash your hair.

Firstly, use a non scented talcum powder and just brish it through your hair (this will absorb any oils and along with it, some of the horrid smokey smells - only works if you have non afro hair!!!).

Avon cosmetics actually sell hair perfumes - smelling the same as their normal fragrances, but designed specifically for hair.

There are also 'dry' shampoos out there - they come in gel form, spray or powder. Follow the instructions, but they all take out the stale smell of cigarettes from your hair and scalp.

Several brands produce "dry" shampoos. These are basically similar to talc in that you puff it onto your hair and then brush it through. It will take away the smell and also stops your hair looking greasy if you don;t have time to wash it. Can totally relate - if it's a choice between 10 minutes more in bed or washing my haoir ten minutes wins every time - thats why I have long hair so I don't have to style it!!

The best thing though is to wash it because whatever you spray on it will blend in with the smoke and smell disgusting.

Try not smoking! If your hair smells, just think of your lungs! Any good quality perfume should cover the smell in the meanwhile!

just wash ur hair... i have a shampoo that is called Pert Natural... it smells good and refreshing and you couldn't smell smoke on your hair ever. If u rolled around in horse crap, then washed ur hair with that stuff, it wouldn't smell!
