As opposed to....letting them never go to school? Not sure what kind of answer you're looking for here. It's illegal in every state to keep your children out of school...so of course parents take their kids to school. Be more specific next time.

My husband takes them to school on the way to work. I pick them up. I think that next year I will start taking them to school one day a week when my husband goes to a Men's Fraternity thing at church.

I'm not missing out on one thing not taking them to school since I'm up there at least 3 hours a day, every school day.

It doesn't matter. My mother took my sister and me to school and my father would pick us up. It all depends on working hours.

I have been for 8 years... they are in private school and I would mortage my house to keep them there!!! With all the stories that I hear about the o--l sex that goes on the bus, I would never let my kids ride the bus. It seems kids have very little respect for themselves these days. it's sad.

I know it may seem embarrassing to you, but I think a parent should insinuate themselves in their children's lives, so that anyone who has it in their mind to do anything wrong to you, knows they have two caring adults that they have to get through to get to you. You may not appreciate it, but having children and adult alike become missing, it is a fact that parental involvement curtails bullies and abuses. Think about it. Your parents are showing their love for you - without having to buy designer clothes.

Since there is no father, I have to.

Since school is 8 miles away and there's no bus, I can't make my kid walk.

So yes, I think they should.

i think they should take turns so they can both see and experience the feeling of seeing your child grow up. i like it...even if it is just for a few minutes. i love walking him in and seeing him put his bag away and say hi to his friends and stuff....i want my husband to see it too!
