Question

I moved to where i live now 2 years ago. I had seen him around but even through the first school year i was here (5th grade) i didn't notice him( we were not in the same class) i didn't notice him. This year he was in my class, and we became pretty good friends especially since he lives in my neighborhood. All my bff's from last year said whenever he came into our class he'd stare at me but i never really paid attention. But in the middle of the school year this year at lunch one of his bff's came up and asked if i would go out with someone. and he was over by us for like 15 minutes. He wouldn't tell me who wanted to go out with me but the whole time he kept looking down the table at him. and for a hint he said the 2nd letter was a, 3rd t, 4th h. His name fit those letter's they said it was one of their friend's matthew and i thought his name was spelled mathew. i talked to his cousin because she knew who he was she also knew how is name really is spelled. do you think he likes me?
