atheists dont believe in miracles or anything of that sort, and if something miraculous happened, people in the future will still ignore it happened.

I suppose I'd have to meet God, and he would REALLY have to impress me.

I require only one piece of OBJECTIVE evidence. Just one.

If the evidence can be easily explained by more probable means, it doesn't count.

If the evidence is, by it's very nature, subjective (like a feeling) it doesn't count.

If the evidence is interpretive, like a vague prophesy, it doesn't count.

If the evidence is circular, "the bible says god exists", it doesn't count.

If the evidence is speculative, "I don't know how everything exists if god didn't create it", it doesn't count.

If the evidence is flawed, based on false events or legends, it doesn't count.

Also:

Popularity is not evidence. There was a time when the majority of people thought the sun revolved around the earth. They were wrong.

Intelligence is not evidence. Einstein denied the possibility of certain quantum theories which are now commonly accepted. Smart is not the same as right.

Shared stories are not evidence. Thousands of people have near death experiences, thousands of people also claim to have been abducted by aliens.

Contradictions invalidate evidence. An individual claiming the existence of a sole god cannot present a miracle as evidence because believers of other gods also present miracles. If your god is the only one, one miracle must be false, you can't claim one miracle true and one false without further evidence.

Unfortunately, considering the supposed nature of the Judeo-Christian god, I'm not sure objective evidence is possible.

EDIT: Just as a side note - I was once a believer and have a great deal of biblical knowledge. I have felt the love and peace that believers describe, those are subjective experiences and have alternative explanations.

Look at my 2 comments at the best answer of your question " why islam is wrong? " , please

Now, as for your present question

As for a miracle, thier is only one miracle left from all miracles ; quran ... don't be upset , , but if you know arabic , it will be easier for you to understand that ... Quran is a unique masterpiece of none litrature , none poem arabic text , came with an uneducated illiteral (can't write or read) arabic 40 years old man who lived in the desert among a premetive tribe , where most people in the arab lands then were brilliant in poems , and he was not , he even never said any piece of poem untill reached that age , then suddenly got that HUGE religion with that EVERLASTING miracle .. the structure of quran is unique , so that throughout 1500 years nobody no matter how good he is could make something like it .

and that be the way is the reason why Muhammad was the last prophet , becuase for the last one , come the last everlasting miracle , and until now no other new prophet , religion or book beats quran has ever show up .

About Athiests , and as in my believing, God has said his last words , and made it (for the first and last time) by his own words (quran is written by God himself - in owr believe) so thier will be no further miracles (as the last miracle is everlasting only for the reason you are saying - for not "people in the future will still ignore it happened")

so, beside miracles, i think the best way to prove to an thiest that their is an 'intellegent creator " of that world , is to tell him the well known example about you can through pieces of papers of different writing letters , and when they fall they MAY consist a word , but they can never consist a book by coensidence , so that extremely big universe cant be made by coincedence , those accurate rules of nature , that structure of atom with is similar to the structure of the solar system , can't be by coencidence ...

and also as we saw a huge part from the universe we found it all empty , not able to be livin in , plamets with on oxygen , only carbon dioxyde , planets freezes at 200 or 400 degree under zero all of the year , planets extremely hot , all lake of water , all stupid rocks, so if only earth was made that beautifull and full of everything that way ( rivers , salt water , moderate climate , day and night , fruites, everything ) the creating of earth that way cant be by coensedence , the creating of earth, and putting it in that place from the sun , full of oxygen and water, that is a miracle itself

There looks merely slightly bewilderment in this question and the solutions. A god like skill, it fairly is the skill to do wondrous issues which contain section the seas or improve the ineffective, is merely yet another type of technologies. in spite of if that be a first technology or some kind that we would call magic or supernatural (in spite of which would be...) power. So, if some creature has such an skill it would desire to be marvelous in that i don't comprehend it, even nonetheless it does not make that creature a god or worth of worship. The question, and well-known (mis?)information of gods, presumes that a god ought to have some surprising power. do not understand why nonetheless. in this gentle, I recommend that a lot of those solutions are pointless. might I recommend that an more suitable question may be... What makes a being worth or worship? fairly not in user-friendly terms the skill to do wondrous issues? in spite of everything, to a man or woman of 2000 years in the past, we'd seem to have godly powers, yet no person might recommend we want to be worshipped.

Oh I don't know... I think the time for that has passed. I used to believe and prayed to god for a number of various reasonable things. Such as to have the knowledge to do well on a test, or keep my family safe and stuff like that. I'm sure believers pray for similar things. Well, since not one of those came true and in many cases the opposite happened. I think god missed his chance at proving he exists to me.

Forget it, chief. Look, the Israelites were accompanied day and night through the deserts accompanied by some quite identifiable miracles. Not one made it. Their carcasses rotted in the desert, so to speak. You go to the book. You either accept it or reject it. Time and consequence will do the rest.

Belief is not based on "evidence", belief is based on faith. If someone, atheist or believer, had unquestionable "evidence" of god's existence, it wouldn't be a belief anymore, but knowledge of god's existence. In other words, people believe because they want to, not because they have evidence.

i think that atheists don't believe because they haven't experience the great love of the lord. they say that there is proof and hide under science, but we that are spiritual know that God is more than proof, its experiencing and believing with out seeing, FAITH.
i have asked myself this same question before and my life changed when i felt his presence and his love all they got to do is give themselves a chance, and they will receive.

Well, this "god" person would need to descend from wherever he supposedly lives, and give a press conference...and maybe turn some water into wine, so we could all get drunk.
