The quickest way is to cut out red meats, starches, breads, sugars, alcohal, and sodas.
Eat veggies (salads are good), soups, and drink TONS of water. If you get hungry between a meal, drink water to fill up.
In moderation eat white meats, and fruits (fruits contain natural sugars, and that can put on weight)
Practice portion control. Yes, you'll feel hungry at first, but think of your goal, and soon your stomach will start shrinking and you won't have that feeling anymore.
Eat 5 times a day. A small breakfast. A mid-morning snack, such as an apple. A small lunch. A mid-afternoon snack, such as carrots. A lite dinner. Do not eat any later than 7pm (6pm is better.)
Go exercise for at least an hour a day, incorporating weight training. Weight training builds muscle. Muscle burns fat. You get the idea. It also gives tone and definition.

2. Eat more often. I eat 5-6 small meals a day. That keeps your metabolism high. Make healthy food choices. Being a male trying to gain weight, I eat more than you will probably want to. Everyday I consume almonds or peanuts, 2 boiled eggs, a tomato, a bananas, one other piece of fruit (apple, orange, nectarine, cherries, strawberries), a bagels w/ cream cheese, a sandwich, 2c of milk and a serving of whey protein. When I get home I eat a balanced dinner with a meat, starch and most importantly a vegitable.
In 10 weeks, I gained 4 lbs and went from a 32 to 31 inch waist line.

Try to do cardio workout at least for an hour 4- 5 days out of the week and eat healthy.. Make sure you eat your meals a day though.. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so make sure you eat breakfast... then snack then eat lunch, then snack and eat dinner.. the secret is moderation... and eating small snacks in between meals.. to keep your metabolism going... and burning fat...

Generally you gain weight because of fats deposits, just dissolve them. How?
People go for losing weight by pills or starving.
Pills do not act effectively and for longer durations. Pills have many side effects for your health.
Starving weakens you and your defense system is also weakened. This makes you less resistant against infactions and other diseases.
The best way is to lose weight by change of diet and your physical activities.
1. Reduce or stop to take oils and fats.
2. Stop taking sugar and glucose. (Mainly tea, coffee & cold drinks.
3. Stop taking potato, rice.
4. Reduce wheat and corn as much as possible.
Take vegitables, boiled meat, fruits (even sweet).
And at the top of all:
Play physical games or Walk, at least 40 to 60 minutes twice a day.
Physical movement with prescribed diet will improve your metablisim and your health.
You will start losing weight to the extent of daily difference.

eat 5 smaller portions meals a day and exercise...yes i know eating more might sound stupid to some people who dont know any better...but eating small meal that many times a day speeds up ur metabolism and if u feel hungry all the time then ur metabolism is speeding up and with exercise...u can burn the fat

Another way to boost metabolism is to drink ice cold green tea. there are many benefits to green tea alone, but if it is ice-cold, your body has to generate more heat to bring your body temperature back up. But always, always, always exercise. Try not to eat past 7pm if you go to bed around 10 or 11pm. Also, avoid sugars and caffeine mixed. With straight caffeine your metabolism increases and you burn excess sugars within the body. But mix caffeine with sugars and it has the reverse effect, and will start storing more sugars as fat.

Exercise, drink plenty of water, and eat right. NOT eat less, Eat right. Eat lots of veggies, as much as you can, they keep your metabolism running-burning the fat.Also if you start exercising be sure to keep it to an enjoyable level, you have to enjoy what you are doing or you will just give up.
