i dont think it is, i think it goes first second fifth and tenth twentieth and so on.
but i dont know much. lol.
I would say that, in america, if you have made it to 8 years you should make a big deal of every anniversary. Ours is a dying breed of long term commitment people.
My personal picks would be a trip to a tropical island, a road trip in a small camper, a weekend get away to some place special, a family vacation, a big bash, buying a hot tub, or getting him that sports equipment he's been putting off buying since the first kid was born.

Forget tradition, and get what ever you want to buy for the special occasion... Eight years is a long time and it is better to make the day as memorable as possible. Be creative and as for the gift, it should be what the wife/hubby would really enjoy........

Yeah there is a list for each year. You can look that up on the internet and find it faster. Just don't forget the BJ! That out weighs the silly list stuff.
