I agree with you. People are people. There are good immigrants and bad ones just like there are bad citizens and good ones. I think some people just need to alienate and opress others to feel good about themselves.

Currently, millions illegal aliens commandeer jobs away from American citizens. If they don't steal those jobs, they depress the wages to the point of legalized slavery.

Meanwhile, profits soar for corporations while the middle class of America plummets into worsening unemployment. Will America drop into Third World conditions as economist Paul Roberts predicts? At the current rate of 4.1 million legal and illegal newcomers imported into the United States annually, it's only a matter of time before, we too, manifest conditions of the Third World. You can't drown the labor market with millions of people and expect to keep your wages high when immigrants will undercut you.

That's why the pay in China or India is less than $10.00 per day. They have 2.4 billion people in those two countries. That's why they live subsistence lives. In time, that reality will manifest itself in America as the middle class vanishes. It's already happening. You need look no further than California as an example of the first Third World State of America.

are we supposed to bear the brunt of a whole nation besides us?
have been going off about this problem for years and it has grown in to the ugly scene we see today and even if you make them legal this problem will still be here.

you cant just take the brunt of a whole nation and expect no economic or social , population ramification's. to say otherwise would be idiotic!

If you are a nurse you should know. We subsidize poor people, even those who pay all of their taxes. We subsidize their children's education to the tune of $18,000 per child per year, and we subsidize health care and other services.

Meanwhile healthcare has become unaffordable since those who pay have to cover the cost of those who don't, and our schools where illegal immigrants concentrate are failing.

Their better life is at our expense. With numbers like 12 to 20 million, that is a very big expense with very big impacts.

And yet the government wants to let in even more than we do now with an essentially unlimited guest worker program. There is no suggestion that the employers who would benefit from the cheap labor would be made to fund schools and health care.

We can't afford them and our children and elderly are paying the price.

In my opinion I get a little upset because where I come from there is so much illegal immigration that all the benefits are taken away from us and given t the people that cross the border. I can't get assistance from any type of program unless I'm poorer than a homeless person, but yet they have 1 or 6 children and they automatically get medicaid ,food stamps up to 600.00 dollars a month and get free transportation every where and get there bills paid without having to work. I'm not saying I rather live on government funds but I just think it's not fair that people like us who have worked the majority of our lives can't get any help even if it is just to get back on our feet while we actually look for a job.Every where you look where I live it's full of illegals almost all the neighborhoods are illegals it's making our town look like there isn't even anymore U.S. citiizens around. I just think they should find a way to help us more when were in time of need because I think we've contributed more to this country than the people that have just crossed over and got everything handed to them on a silver platter.

Talk to those people that can't get credit because some illegal stole their social security number and committed identity theft.

How about all those hospitals in southern California that were forced to close because they didn't have enough money to operate after giving illegal aliens free care.

How about all those failing schools that are overcrowded with kids that can't speak English and who's parents can't either. Taxpayers are paying for bilingual teachers at an enormous cost to society.

I could go on for pages but I can't believe you don't understand the fuss.

Illegal Immigration is a big drain on our society. We pay taxes so we can have education, healthcare, roads to drive on, foodstamps etc....Illegals pay nothing and recieve everything for FREE. They come here and demand that we give them all of this stuff, yet we pay for it. In the state I reside in our department of human services was recently $172 million dollars in debt. Why do you think that is? Because of all of the illegal people who are recieving all kinds of benefits, they do not deserve and didn't pay for. Not to mention all of the jobs they are taking from tax paying american citizens. I could go on forever...I hope you have a better idea now why ILLEGAL immigration is wrong, Its not fair to us who abide by the laws.

They drive down wages for jobs they do for pennies on the hour. Normally would be reserved for younger kids, students. They are also a huge burden on our government by getting free health care and welfare for their children that were born here illegally. The government spends a lot of money caring for illegal immigrants, but still do not enforce our immigration laws.

I could go on and on.

well for the illegals that live here and don't pay taxes that to me is a big fuss. I don't want to have to pay for another family to live here. The illegals here where I live get paid in cash and receive state help as well.

Illegal immigration hurts the illegal workers and workers in general by lowering the standards for all workers. Illegal workers do NOT receive minimum wage, they do NOT get benefits such as health care, they do NOT get guarantees of safe work environments, etc. And, because they accept these abyssmal conditions, they maintain the oppressive conditions just by working in these jobs. Also, this denies legal workers the opportunity to take such jobs and to organize for better working conditions. Finally, by lowering the standards in the workplace that businesses can set, illegal workers make it harder for all workers to organize for decent conditions and wages.

No human being anywhere in the world should have to work in unsafe conditions for inadequate pay with no access to adequate health care and with no means to organize for better conditions. More importantly, no person in the US should have to work under these circumstances.

Well for one it causes above average growth which leads to problems with congestion, air quality and even public safety. I

Second if you ignore "illegal" immigration what other laws can we ignore? I mean if we're to let 12 million people ignore our rules of law then what if all conservatives stopped paying taxes and got amnesty from taxes because 12 million of them did it? How can you pick and choose which laws to accept and which to ignore? Not a good idea.

Well it doesn't cause any harm, it just gives Americans less benefits for one, minum wages would be more than what is it now if it wasn't for all those illegal immigrants coming in.
