He would have looked like an Egyptian or Israeli do now. He was often called Jesus of Nazareth because that is where he was from and Nazareth was in what is currently the Northern District of Israel. It currently is home for Israeli Arabs over half of which are Muslim.
Now Jewish was/is not a race. That was a description of you ancestry and now is a religion. How often do you see someone asking "hey what race is she?' "Oh Christian" or "Buddhist" that may be a descriptor of where you are from as most Buddhists are of Asian decent but not all. As with Jew. There are black Jews out there too! They aren't all "white" in color.
