God is one Essence, Yet distinguished in Three persons - The Holy Trinity. -

The Father is the cause, origin, and beginning of all things visible and invisible; the Son is the word, wisdom, and image of the Father; the Holy Spirit is the eternal power and might, proceeding from the Father and the Son.

Nevertheless, God is not by this distinction divided into three, since the Holy Scriptures teach us that the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit have each His personality, distinguished by Their properties; but in such wise that these three persons are but one only God.

Hence, then, it is evident that the Father is not the Son, nor the Son the Father, and likewise the Holy Spirit is neither the Father nor the Son. Nevertheless, these persons thus distinguished are not divided, nor intermixed; for the Father has not assumed the flesh, nor has the Holy Spirit, but the Son only.

The Father has never been without His Son, or without His Holy Spirit. For They are all three co- eternal and co-essential. There is neither first nor last; for They are all three one, in truth, in power, in goodness, and in mercy.

The Son chose to come down from Heaven as a person and he chose the name Jesus. There are three spirits in one God, they are the Son (Jesus), the Father and the Holy Spirit. But no one knows the mystery of the Holy Trinity. If you are not convinced go to a priest to help you with your believes.

A man i used to know wrote a book on this subject. It was called: Jesus is not God and in it he shows that the bible doesn't actually say that Jesus is God. The idea of three in one God comes not from the bible, but from other sources it seems.
Myself, I believe what Jesus said about himself. He always said he was the son of God and that God was his father. Now I cannot be my own father and my own son at the same time, it's just not physically possible. It breaks all the rules of common sense. So why expect God to break those rules? I could spend a long time sharing from that book here but it would take too much time and room. If you PM me I'll give you the author name and details so you can keep an eye out for it.

Jesus is the son, not the God, nor the holy spirit. He said in John 14:28 that the "father is greater" than him. God sent his son Jesus on earth to save us. The holy spirit is a force (power) that God possess, and he sent some of his power to Jesus when he baptized.

Jesus is not God nor is He the Holy Spirit. These three are three separate but equal persons in what is called the Godhead or the Trinity. Yet there is just one God, not three.

This is complicated question. It does not seem so at first. The mind of man cannot conceive how this could be. We think "How can there be three separate but equal personages and why aren't there three gods but only one God?" We just have to accept the fact that there is one God who has a Son called Jesus and there is the Holy Spirit and all three personages are separate but equal. We just have to take it on faith that there are three separate but equal personages and there is but one God.

first of all, u need to capitalize God, Son, and Holy Spirit. Second of all, Jesus isn't all three of these and he doesn't multi-task like that. He is the Son of God, the second person of the Holy Trinity. He is one of three persons in one God which automatically makes him God. Got it?
