Everytime I'm driving my 1999 Ford Explorer I feel a pull or a jerk like. This most of the time happens when I'm going up hill. I got my transfer case fixed thinking that was the problem, and it still does it. Someone told me it might be my Transfer case Motor. Can anyone help me on what the problem might be? I really need someone's help.

Thank You For Your Time

I did not have this exact problem with mine, thought it sound if yours is four wheel drive, try and look at the independent drive Axel on the front drive wheels or it could be the front spindle or brake shims.
Better yet, Take to a Ford Dealer and ask, then fix it yourself if you are mechanically knowledgeable.
Good luck

I'm not sure, but my cousin had a 1999 Ford Explorer and he had EVERYTHING wrong with it!

Ex.
Mirror motors, rotars, head gasket, rear shocks, rear axle, 2 transmissions, radiator..... just not a very reliable car...

I'm sorry your having this trouble. I don't think my cousin has had that problem... well, yet at least.

The dealer can update the GEM module for this concern. Go to a dealer and have them run the vin and check for TSB's for the transfer case.

Are you sure this isn't just an engine issue? Like it could have a little stutter to it?
