It comes from the true source of all hatred---Satan the Devil. He does not want anyone to worship the true God. He is angry because he was thrown out of heaven, along with his demons and like a roaring lion, he is always looking to devour someone--and when we see all the hatred, injustice and suffering all around us, we realize that many are following him. We must remain faithful to God till the end, for soon Satan and all who are on his side will be put out of existance forever.

I do not hate Christians... I, personally, hate the practices some christians (well, those who claim to be christians) engage in.

Some people hate for no reason, or they hate because they fear something, or don't understand it. Even deeper... some of that haterd you speak of may come from actions taken by christians long ago in history. One example is the Inquisition, and the Witch Hunts.

Some hate the idea of evangelism... or at least some of the methods employed in evangelizing. Telling someone "You will convert from the way you have been born into or I will kill you and destroy your village" is not a very good plan.

Basically... perhaps it is not so much the people that are hated, more so the practices some have. Trying to force one ideal on another wil for certain drill up some hate.

At least, that is MY take on it...

Christian does not equal racist. You have made racist remarks on Yahoo Answers. You will be reported. They will see what you wrote down. How can you say that you are a Christian and be racist at the same time? You must be very young and obviously not educated enough to interact with professional blacks and go home with a sense of fulfilment that you stood your ground and had an intelligent debate without the type of dialogue that shows ones lack of intellect and ability to hold a vigorous, point-counterpoint, intelligent debate backed by vetted facts and reasons for your argument. Good day, youngling. Strive for knowledge.

Unfortunately, SOME Christians have a tendency to judge or berate people. Some other Christians tend to want to tell people how to live their lives, which rubs some people the wrong way.

As often happens, non-Christians then assume that ALL Christians are like that, and over-generalize their hatred. Both sides are at fault, unfortunately.

It comes from our grand pa Adam. All people are sinners and all come short of the glory of God. Romans 3: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; WE all need someone to take care of our sins and that is what The Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Bad experiences. I hate jehova's witness only for the fact that they come knocking at my door and try to push their beliefs on me. The same thing applies to crhistians, there are some that would try to push their beliefs on others, thus making them hate all christians not just those particular ones. Generalization that all people of that faith are the same.

I have noticed that a lot of Christians suffer from Paranoia. No one is out to get you or destroy Christianity. However, You should not start a fight with other groups if you can't take them defending themselves.

"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me."
