Whenever we really want to achieve something it proves to be a failure. As if we were destined to fail in what we want to be good at. If He's out there, and allegedly looks at us all the time, why does it look like he is gone? We are said that if we pray we get something but it's not true to my mind. Shall I leave Him then?

I believe. It's been a long irritating silence. To be honest, God makes for a crappy pen-pal. I suppose he has more important things to worry about. On the otherhand, just because he isn't paying attention to me, doesn't mean he isn't there. I'm not sure I'd want that much attention anyway. We leave eachother alone, and things seem to work out anyway. What do you mean leave him? Renounce him, or actually leave? Got yourself a space ship? I'm sorry man, a crisis of faith can be unsettling.

No, when you do not get something it is because it was not supposed to be your in the first place, not all we ask is going to be ours, imagine that. Everything happens for a reason, just think what reason had to be in order for you not to get it. For example my husband had a job earning 6 figures. we were really happy, we could had anything we wanted, we eat out every day, had nice clothing, and all of the sudden he lost his job, layoffs. Well i was devastated asking God why us, we where happy, we where good people why us, we almost lost everything, lost my faith in him too. But there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. I the realize we had forgotten him, we never tank him for what hi gave us, not until we lost it. when we realize that, and only then was when my husband got a similar job back, we are happy and we have him to thank. Do not lose your faith, that is what makes us human. We have to learn so we can grow, and sometimes things have to happen so we can learn, Good luck and God bless.

Hey, hey, hey. Who said God doesn't believe in us? Did you not do your best yet? You know the saying "Do your best and God will do the rest"? And if God answers everything all of us ask for, well, it would be quite a disaster. Have you ever watched "Bruce Almighty" ? He was given all of God's power for a week and he said yes to all the prayers. He made the world into one big mess. Also, life isn't always fair. There are ups and downs in every body's life. That's what makes life life. Another thing, you must remember, he is always there for you, you have to believe in him first though. He won't force you to believe in him. He gives you the choice, but this life he gave you is just like everybody else's in this world. There is no absolute smoothness or always ups in life. Remember everything has a price, with one exception, and that's God's love for us!

Maybe you are trying to achieve something that is not Gods will for your life. We need to remember that we are here for His purpose, not ours.

When we pray within Gods will, then yes the prayers are answered.

Another thing to remember that the Bible says no one can reach God except through Jesus Christ. So if you are praying to God, and you are not putting your faith in Christ then that is why your prayers are not being answered.

I would suggest instead of praying for the things that you want, pray that God show you His will for your life.

If you don't believe in Christ then pray that God reveal the truth to you about Him, this is the prayer that He can answer for the unbeliever.

I hope that this has helped!

God Loves YOU
Heather :)

First of all not every time we achieve something we will fail. God says he will never fail us. You have to look at what are you achieving to be. Is that what God has planned for you? There is a difference. God gives us what we need not what we want. God has a plan for all of us. It might not be what we had planned though. He wants us to love him and only then will we understand why he does certain things and accept that. He is our father and he does discipline us when we need it. Just like what we have to do to our children. When we discipline our children they sometimes do not understand it. But they will later. We do it for their own good and because we love them. Same way God loves and disciplines us.

Also God hears every prayer we pray. He answers all of them, its just might not be the way we want it answered.

Why do you think you are so special that god should follow what you believe to be the right plan. Just because you think something should happen doesn't mean it should. God has a much larger perspective on things. To be angry because something you wanted to happen didn't come about is to be very immature and childish. All you can do is prepare yourself to accomplish and hope that everything goes well. We really have no control at all, but those who truely believe in Him don't care that we have no control.

You are a whack.
God believes in us. And we can acheive things that we really want if it is good in God's eyes and in accordance with his will and his plans. We are not destined to fail at what we want to be good at. It may not be God's plan in our life. He is not gone and it does not look like he is gone. He is always here and as a Christian I feel his presence and I know that he is here. It does not say if you pray God will give whatever you want in the Bible. It has to be part of his will and his plan for him to bless you. If you are living in sin(not sinning, LIVING in sin-being gay, having premarital sex, etc.) Don't leave God he is HERE....

Boy. You have issues. Just because something doesn't work out for you doesn't mean He isn't watching over you. If that were the case, I'd be living in hell right now. He has a plan for you and though you don't like it right now, He knows what he is doing and where He wants you to be. Leaving Him would only hurt you. Just relax and trust in Him and He will come through for you.

First things first, No where in the Bible did it ever say He does not believe in us, it is NEVER A question of His believe, it is A question of ours, "For God [The Father} SO LOVED the world [put your name in place of world] that whsoever [thats you] shall believe [thats be-live] in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life, Yes He is looking at us, rather you, but look at what He is seeing, you are walking around in a world where there is a 100% death rate, living on probation time because the second member of the Godhead died in YOUR place, you are in your grave right now, what should you be seeking FIRST, "Seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness, THEN all things shall be added unto you. Put first things first, we look into space wondering if any brain is in operation there, don't you understand He looks here for the same reason. wgr88@yahoo.com Free Bible course www.itiswritten.com God Bless ya

We are imperfect. It is inherited from Adam, who sinned and therefore lost perfection for all mankind. That is why most of us fail a lot, we can't help it! It is not God's fault that we fail. And he is there, that's why he gave us the ransom sacrifice. To provide a way for us to gain back perfection by exercising faith in it. What are you praying for? Maybe he has answered it, but not in a way that you wanted. No, you should not lose faith. God is there, and he cares about us. Read Revelation 21:3,4 for a glimpse into mankind's future . . .

Leave God? You affirm his existence but then you claim that you will punish Him by claiming you thin khe does not exist? This is not intellectually honest, though I do recognize that the question is an emotional one. That being said, I think you need to view a God-relationship as not what you can get out of it, but what you can give out of it. What have you given him lately?
