no you didn't.
You "gave your life to God" not out of love for God, but for personal gain and comfort. You are using God to your own ends; for your own pleasure. Therefore, you have given nothing to God.
please do not think me rude.
God is, by definition, boundless. All that you can see and cannot see is That. To Love That (God) without conditions and to see God everywhere and know only God is the only way to be given unto Him.
There is no "you". Give up this false notion of self. (the Self's image of itself is not the Self itself.) You might realize that what You are is all that is within and without you. You and all that Is is Him... is You. Even them "little kids"... no distinction to be made anywhere.
don't get stuck in the muck!
peace.

Life is a struggle sometimes. But very often, after dedicating your life to Christ, Satan launches an all-out attack on your life. It is a move to discourage a new faith, and to make you less effective as a Christian.
Satan cannot change the fact the he no longer has reign over your soul, but he can attempt to discourage you and make you wonder if you did the right thing or not.
The answer is to follow through with the rest of the steps: You have already given your life to God, now follow through with faith, hope, and peace. This is the point where you need to get into a solid Bible-based church and learn exactly what the Bible has to offer you. It will guide you for the rest of your life if you only listen to it. It can even help you steer clear of "wolf in sheeps clothing" type preachers. Truth always wins out over deceit, God has already won the war, no matter what Satan attempts now, you are His child and you have returned to His loving arms. Smile, because Satan and his demons hold no power over you ever again!

Can you be more specific about what giving your life to Christ means to you? giving your life to Christ doesn't mean you are going to have it easy in this life. You can learn to be responsible for your own feelings. Anger and hurt are responses. You can change how you respond to your family and others. Most of the time we get angry and upset when we cannot control what other people do. Remember little kids don't know alot about how to deal with other people. If you are angry go for a walk around the block or do something to keep busy. If you feel you need to Talk to your school couselor or a trusted friend about your feelings. What ever you do-don't punch brick walls or another person. Punch your pillow.

The most improtant thing is to remember that everything will get better...keep praising God for all the good things...God won't let anything bad happen to you....it's the devil, he comes to kill, steal, and destroy...remember that God will never give you more than you can handle... if you would like, talk to my pastors....they are awesome teachers and they can give you all the right answers...:)

you gave your life to God " because my friends and pastors said I will have a better life"... giving your life to God isn't an automatic pass for a better life... when you give your life to God then Satan has to work harder on you...before you give your life to God Satan isn't so worried about your soul, he knows he has it. a Christian life isn't always an easy one, Satan will throw things at you to cause you to question your faith and God.. but stick with it, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger... and in the end the good guys win and Satan and his followers go back to the fiery pit...and any suffering we do here on earth will all be worth it... someone once told me " for those who are saved life on earth is as close to hell as they will get, for those who are not saved, life on earth is as close to Heaven as they will get" just keep in mind that it will get better than this...

Yeah, when I "Gave my life to Christ" because a friend pressured me, my life didn't change either.
It wasn't until I made the decision for myself that my life changed.

Satan is trying to tempt you, to trick you into thinking that life will be easier with out God. Is he succeeding? Don't let him win. Keep searching for God, and the true happiness that He has in store for His faithful servants.

Giving your life to God means dedicating it to service. Do not think that service is easy.
